Fair Week

Today is the beginning of the fair, one of the biggest events that Columbia County hosts, besides the Magnolia Blossom Festival. The fair will kick off with the parade starting at 5:00 today, beginning at the Jackson Street Church of Christ and ending at the SAU Overstreet building. 

Activities at the fair include pageants that will continue through the week, a dance contest, a talent show, livestock showings, and several exhibits. Tuesday night is "Media Night" and ride armbands will be at a discounted $15! As always, please be safe while at the fair. Please drive slowly on Columbia Road 13 as it turns into a one-lane when people begin parking on the shoulder. We don't want anyone to get hurt by carelessness.
