Winter time is here.

The cold weather is officially here and here to stay. Please be aware of the road conditions and possible road closures in your community throughout this weather cycle. We also want you to be cautious in the use of space heaters and other open flame devices that could catch fire. We also advise you to clean your fireplace regularly.

Columbia County is under a burn ban at this time. This means that conditions are too dry to burn pine straw, leaves, grass, etc.

Spring is just a couple months away, and will be here before we know it. Everyone have a safe winter!
