Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Columbia Rd 17 around 11:00 AM on yesterday’s date, November 11, 2013, in reference to a homeowner walking in on a burglar who was attempting to steal items from her home. The homeowner reported that there was a scuffle in the hallway of the home, and the suspect fled behind the house in the woods. The suspect was described as a male, wearing a black hoodie. The victim received very minor injuries during the scuffle. No items were reported taken.
